Ribbon Cutting Marks Opening of a New Generation of Senior Living
The All New Sunnyside Manor Celebrated Grand Opening
Mayor George K. Newberry along with John & Lucia Keane cut the ribbon at the official opening of the all new Sunnyside Manor in Wall Township on November 18, 2015. They were joined in the special honor by MaryEllen Keane, her brother John, Jr. and sister Kathy Lindenthal.
Monsignor Flynn from St. Marks Parish in Sea Girt began the ceremony with a special blessing of joy and peace for the residents, their families and staff in their new home. John Jr. concluded by proposing a toast to his parents and their vision in setting new standards for senior living.
John Keane opened the original Sunnyside Manor, a senior care community, 25 years ago in nearby Manasquan. By the mid 1990’s, he began to plan for an expansion with a new assisted living section as well as a special memory care neighborhood. After nearly 18 years of planning, the new Sunnyside Manor came to reality in Wall.
MaryEllen Keane, who has been in the family business for over 19 years, noted that their community is very unique not only because they are family owned and operated, but because they are able to provide customized services to their residents as well as their families. “We are a hands-on family. On any given day, you can find us in the community, dining and interacting with our residents and guests. This family experience and dedication is what makes us a uniquely warm and home-like community.”
The all new Sunnyside Manor provides a continuum of care in three distinct neighborhoods: Independence ‘Plus’ Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing. For more information, call 888-727-6021.
